Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy put the speculations on joining senior Congress leader Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy in TDP to the end.

KE ruled out Kotla switching loyalties to Telugu Desam as TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu turned down the Congress leader’s demand for MLC Post and also ministerial berth in Chandrababu’s cabinet. Kotla was also not sure BJP and TDP will retain power in next elections.

The deputy Chief Minister said the CM neglected Kotla and joined YSR Congress MP from Kurnool Butta Renuka as an alternative to strengthen TDP in the Rayalaseema district. However, he evaded to reply whether TDP was trapped after Renuka joined.

The TDP senior leader said he would not make any comment on the winning prospects of BJP at the centre since Telugu Desam was the partner of BJP led NDA government.
