In a major shock to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, Former Inspector-General of Rayalaseema Range, Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal, IPS, has joined the YSRCP on Wednesday.
Mohammed Iqbal has joined the YSRCP in the presence of party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, welcomed him into the party by offering party’s shawl. Iqbal was accompanied by Bugganna Rajendranath Reddy and many other YSRCP leaders.
Mohammed Iqbal had sevrved important posts as a senior police officer in undivided Andhra Pradesh.
