Nellore YCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy responded for Jagan’s call to make party MP’s to resign, demanding special status for the State. Mekapati said that all MP’s of YCP are ready to resign if there is an assurance that State will be granted special status. He said that a meeting at party level, is necessary for making such decisions.
He later questioned how a package would be equal to special status? He added that special status would attract more industries and the people of AP are awaiting the announcement of special status.
