Young hero Raj Tarun’s father was sentenced to three years jail in connection with a case related to duping a bank.

According to reports, Basavaraju, who hails from Vepagunta in Visakhapatnam, was an Assistant Cashier in the Simhachalam branch of State Bank of India.

He took a loan of Rs 9.85 lakh by depositing fake gold ornaments in 2013.

The bank manager lodged a complaint in the Gopalapatnam Police Station. The court sentenced sentenced Basavaraju to three years in prison and imposed a fine of 20,000 for duping the bank.
