EC transfers DSP in Nandyal

Telugu Desam Party received a jolt from the Election Commission in the Nandyal by-poll.

On Friday night, the Election Commission transferred DSP Gopala Krishna. The EC took this decision after the YSRCP lodged a complaint over the raids conducted on the residences of YSRCP leaders.

The police conducted midnight raids on the residences of Silpa Mohan Reddy’s relatives. The YSRCP has lodged a complaint with EC against Gopala Krishna saying that he was tacitly backing the TDP. Responding to the YSRCP’s complaint, the EC has appointed OSD Ravi Prakash as the new DSP.
