KCR government facing political headache in creation of new districts

Creation of new districts in Telangana is becoming a complicated web to the TRS Chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao led Telangana government.

Senior Congress leader DK Aruna has resigned from the Telangana Assembly by protesting over the TRS Government denial to announce Gadwal district only because of she is representing in Assembly from Gadwal constituency.

She has sent her resignation to the Chief Minister, asking him to forward her resignation letter to the Speaker. DK Aruna, who has been spearheading a movement for Gadwal district has said that the people of Gadwal want a separate district. She has conducted several padayatras and dharnas for achieving the demand. But, KCR has not responded to the demand. Thus she decided to resign.
