Unlike other heroes, who are running behind the stories in college backdrop and love stories, Naga Shourya has chosen a family entertainer. He recently bagged success with Chalo, now back again with a family entertainer Amammagarillu. Shamili, who impressed the audience as a child actor, back to silver screen as a heroine after a long gap. Let’s see whether the film impressed the audience or not.

Seetha Mahalakshmi (Sumithra) belongs to a joint family. Due to financial issues, Surya Narayana (Chalapathi Rao) dies and the family tears apart. They have three sons, two daughters and all of them moves away to different parts of the world. But among them all, Santosh (Naga Shourya) shares a strong bond with his grandmother and wants to keep her happy. The rest of the story is how he keeps her happy.

It is a predictable and routine story. After a long time, the audience will see a family entertainer at theaters, which will make you miss your grandparents. Even though there are many family dramas in the industry, the audience will always accept and appreciate them. Every audience will easily get connected to it. The director has successfully presented an interesting family emotional drama on screen.

Especially Rao Ramesh and Naga Shourya’s characters completely steal the show. The chemistry between Santosh and Seetha (Shamili) characters is a weak and the slow narration is another biggest disadvantage of the film. With this film, definitely the actor will become close to the family audience.

It is a proven fact that Rao Ramesh is one of the biggest advantages to the family dramas. He did an interesting role as arrogant elder son, who is an A2 contractor. His expressions and dialogues are a highlight in this film. Naga Shourya is another advantage to the film. He gave his best in emotional scenes. Sivajiraja, Sumitra, Ravi Prakash, Hema, Sudha and other did well in their respective role.

Shakalaka Shankar who did the friend role steals the show with his comedy timing. His conversations with Naga Shourya will tickle the funny bones of the audience. The cinematography is good, dialogues are top notch. Director presented the old story in a new way. The production values are good. Kalyan Ramana’s music is good.

On a whole, the film is all about the emotional bonding between the family members.
