Why did Chandrababu meet BJP leaders?

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who is currently touring in Delhi, has been meeting many leaders to bring pressure on the Central Government over Special Status to Andhra Pradesh.

Shockingly, even after TDP snapped ties with the BJP, Chandrababu has met the BJP leaders.

He met BJP senior leader Murli Manohar Joshi and the meeting was lasted for over 15 minutes.

He also interacted with the Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha and BJP MP Hema Malini. The TDP MPs have claimed that Chandrababu will not meet any BJP leaders during his Delhi tour.

Many feel that Chandrababu is trying to play a key role in the ongoing efforts to cobble up an alternative front against the BJP. However, the AP CM said that his Delhi visit had nothing to do with politics.
