Why did Chandrababu bow down in Parliament?

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is currently in Delhi on a two-day visit in view of the Central Government denying Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. He paid tribute at Gandhi statue in the Parliament.

Later, before entering into the Central hall, Chandrababu bowed down to touch the steps of the Parliament. He was seen posing for the cameras while bowing down.

This video is going viral on social networking sites and many feel that Chandrababu had tried hard to project it as a mark of respect.

He has been meeting leaders from different parties to bring pressure on the Central Government.
