This Is Why Kamal Preferred Madurai For Party Launch!

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan launched his much-hyped political party ‘Makkal Neethi Maiam’ on Wednesday night at the public meeting in Madurai.

Many wondered why he chose Madurai for launching the party. It seems Kamal Haasan preferred Madurai as Mahatma Gandhi decided to wear loin cloth over formal wear in Madurai in the year 1921.

In Tamil Nadu politics, most of the politicians keep their hold on Madurai to become powerful. It is considered as political capital.

Famous Jallikattu is being organized every year in Madurai and Kamal played bull-tamer in 2004 film ‘Virymaandi’. Not only this, Kamal hailed from Paramkudi which was the part of Madurai before delimitation of districts.
