The Central Government has stopped the Rs 100 crore fund to Visakha municipal corporation. The Centre was supposed to allocate Rs 100 fund to the corporation annually. But this time, the union government has kept the funds allocation on hold.
The Center has already provided over 100 crores for the development of Visakhapatnam under the Amrut project. Reports say that the Centre made it clear that it won’t allocate any funds to the Amrut scheme from now on.
