Thaler tweeted”damn” after learning Rs 2000 notes were introduced

In a tweet on November 8, 2016 about demonetisation Thaler had said, “This is a policy I have long supported. First step toward cashless and good start on reducing corruption. But soon after learning that Rs 2,000 currency notes are to be introduced in the place of the previous Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, Thaler tweeted, “really? Damn”.
