Behind The Scene: Kanna To Join YSRCP?

The political equations fast changing in Andhra Pradesh. The talk in political circles is that six time MLA and former minister Kanna Laxminarayana has been seriously contemplating to join YSRCP. The Kapu leader from Guntur, is likely to call for a meeting with all the leaders from his district and seek their advice on his decision soon.

Kanna, who was very close to YSR, was one of the CM aspirants in Congress Party and he tried hard to become PCC Chief before the last general elections. After the Congress party’s flop show in 2014 elections, Kanna joined in BJP.

The buzz is that Kanna is unhappy with BJP sailing with the TDP and also for not getting due importance in the Government and in the party. It is also learnt that it is only a matter of time before his entry into YSRCP takes place .

It will become a big boost to the YSR Congress party in Guntur district if Kanna joins the party.
