YSRCP slams Naidu: demands compensation to farmers for crop loss

The main opposition party in the Assembly, YSR Congress Party has slammed the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. YSRCP MLA Gadikota Srikanth Reddy criticized Chief Minister,Chandrababu Naidu,saying that he was playing gimmicks aimed on publicity only. He said that YSRCP is demanding compensation on crop loss and a loan waiver for farmers. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu is ignoring the problems of farmers in the state.

He further added that farmers have been facing the crisis for two-and-a-half years, but the TDP government has done nothing. Farmers kept their jewellery in banks for finance agriculture, but ended up in misery. Motivated by rains in June, farmers planted groundnut seeds, but the yields were poor.Small farmers are helpless as there’s no support from the state government.

YSRCP demanded compensation on the crop loss for farmers. If not waiving of the loans, then at least reschedule the loans.
